We are going to be on from 5:00 to 6:45, and joining us will be Greg Biffle to discuss the annual Fred Brownfield Memorial ASCS race this weekend at Grays Harbor Raceway, along with coverage of the upcoming Montana 200 with Doug Pace and Paul Bartholomew. Bill Bailey from the Northwest Legends and Steve Beitler from Skagit Speedway will join us as well.

On the road again!

Northsound Racing hit's the road again this Thursday, as we will be broadcasting live from Opening Night of the Dirt Cup at Skagit Speedway! We'll be combing the pits and grandstands looking for guests, along with participants from the Stanwood Camano Island Soap Box Derby, whose cars will be on display at Skagit.

Dirt Cup's Around the Corner!

Join us Thursday night for another edition of NorthSound Racing. Scheduled to appear is the new driver of the "NorthSound Racing Special" Soap Box Derby car, Makayla Koster, along with Jonathan Allard, Molly Helmuth, John McDermott and Trevor McDermott, both active in the local road-racing scene. We'll also get started with our Dirt Cup coverage as well.

We'll start off at 8:00, and end up at 10:00, with the Verizon Pit reporters on right after we are done, on FOX SPORTS 1380.

Brad Teigen wins the trip to the Indy 500!

An outstanding night at the Mukilteo Lodge Sports Grille was capped off by the winning of Northsound Racing's trip to the Indy 500 by Everett resident Brad Teigen! Over 100 people entered to win the trip, along with prizes from Longacre Racing Products, Action Auto Parts, Amsoil, FOX Sports 1380 Radio, Skagit Speedway, Evergreen Speedway and more.

The Mukilteo Lodge Sports Grille was packed all night, and went to prove that the racing community in the Pacific Northwest is a fun loving group to say the least. Special thanks need to go out as well to Anderson Racing and Sundholm Racing for allowing us to put their racecars on display out in front of the Lodge. The group from the Stanwood Camano Soap Box Derby were in attendance, and they did a U-Stream video, along with with a radio "blogtalk" of the event. (http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/7080675)

Many thanks need to also go out to the staff of FOX Sports 1380 Radio, and especially those involved with the Mukilteo Lodge Sports Grille. They all slept really well for sure. We'll have the winner on when he gets back from Indy, so tune in.

One more week to go!

Only one week to go before our huge Indy 500 ticket giveaway show at the Mukilteo Lodge Sports Grille! Make your plans now to join us from 8:00 to 10:00 PM on Thursday, May 20th for the live show! We'll be on the air tomorrow night with a packed show. The definition of speed, racing the Bonneville Salt Flats

Thursday brings another edition of Northsound Racing! Scheduled to appear are John Lynch and Kevin Eacret from the Unlimited Lights Hydroplane Racing Association, and we'll introduce you to "The Hudson Boys", a local group that has been racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats for many years. Bert Johnson from the Port Angeles Raceway will be on, along with Kaleb Hart, Phil Martelli and Rob Angus and more.

We'll be on the air starting at 8:00, and wrapping up at 10:00 PM! We'll also have more information on our Indy 500 ticket giveaway, plus race results and previews of upcoming events at tracks all over the Pacific Northwest.

The season opener at the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval, Super Figure 8's at Evergreen, and more!

Here's what we are bringing you on tomorrow night's Northsound Racing! We'll have complete coverage of the season opener at the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval, along with interviews from Travis Bennett and Joe Constance. We will preview the I-Racing ASA Northwest Late Model Northwest Series event at South Sound Speedway with Jerry Losch, and Kelly Hale will join us to talk about the Evergreen Speedway Super Figure 8's making an appearance at South Sound.

First time winner in the Super Figure 8's at Evergreen Speedway Jake Repin will be on the show, along with Mike Witte from the Ephrata Raceway Park to give us a preview of the 2010 season. Updates from Skagit Speedway, Gray's Harbor Raceway, Evergreen Speedway, and a visit with Taylor Malsam.

Plus, an announcement about our 2nd annual Indy 500 giveaway, with all the details to be handed out tomorrow night! We'll also have more tickets to give away to Evergreen and Skagit Speedways.

Yakima Apple Cup at Yakima Speedway

Time to get ready for some big time stock car racing! Northsound Racing hits it hard again this Thursday, and joining us will be Evergreen Speedways new announcer Greg Piland, along with Danni Johnson and "Mr. Dizzy" Mike Buse. Also scheduled are Naima Lang, South Sound Speedways Kelly Hale, and an interesting interview with Scott Dial with Joe Gibbs Driven Motor Oil. Northsound Racing begins its 5th season of broadcasting all the latest news and information regarding the diverse motorsports scene in the Pacific Northwest! Join Steve Mortland, Tom Glithero and Sheree Berg this Thursday, March 18th from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, and get caught up on all that's been going on in the off-season, and get up to speed on your favorite tracks opening events for the 2010 season!

Northsound Racing is the area's only radio show dedicated to covering the race teams, sponsors and facilities that provide fans entertainment all season long. Covering events all over Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia, Northsound Racing strives to bring it's listeners as close as they can to the big events, along with events that don't get the coverage in the local papers. Simply put, you never know what's going to be on the show!
